About Us

The Learn Excel modules project is intended to help students, faculty, and professionals develop skills in Excel or access instruction in Excel as-needed and on-demand. This online learning tool is designed to easily present Excel functions and their uses. With the use of GIFs and a few supplementary videos, the site presents short tutorials to convey highly demanded skills that presently constitute the absolute minimum in data fluency that is demanded in today’s workplace. Although we began this work with the needs of students and faculty at the Middlebury College, the Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey, and the Middlebury Schools Abroad in mind, we are pleased to share this resource with the broader public as well.

The Learn Excel Project has been made possible through the contributions of our project team members, listed below, financial support from the Provost’s Office at Middlebury College, and the assistance of colleagues from the Office of Digital Liberal Inquiry and the Middlebury College Library.
